Amjad spent the first half of his career in strategy consulting, advising boards on how to enter markets and make decisions that hold. He has since put that to work on his own account: building and structuring businesses across several jurisdictions, investing through Yellowfin Capital Partners, and helping companies in the UAE grow and go public.
He founded EnterMarkets in 2012 to answer, properly, the question people kept bringing him—how do I do this in the UAE?—rather than watching them be sold a transaction. He takes on a few clients at a time, and is usually in the room.
